Terms + Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the rental services provided by DRD Event Services (“Company”) to the Client. By using our services or signing any rental agreement, the Client agrees to abide by the terms outlined below.

 

1. Rental Agreement

All rental reservations must be confirmed in writing, and payment of a deposit signifies acceptance of these terms. The Client agrees to pay the total rental cost as outlined in the invoice.

 

2. Payment Terms

• A non-refundable deposit of [percentage or amount] is required to confirm the booking.

• The remaining balance is due [number] days before the event date.

• Payments can be made via cash, credit card, or bank transfer. Failure to make full payment by the due date may result in cancellation.

 

3. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations made [number] days or more before the event will forfeit the deposit but will not incur additional charges.

• Cancellations made less than [number] days before the event will be subject to full payment.

• Refunds are not issued for unused items or services.

 

4. Delivery, Setup, and Pickup

• Delivery and pickup times will be confirmed prior to the event. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure access to the venue at the agreed times.

• Setup and takedown services are included only if specified in the invoice. Additional charges may apply for delays caused by the venue or Client.

• Any changes to delivery or pickup times must be requested at least [number] hours in advance and may be subject to additional fees.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

• The Client is responsible for ensuring the rented items are used in a safe and proper manner.

• The Client is liable for any loss, theft, damage, or misuse of the rented items during the rental period.

• Any damage or missing items will be charged at replacement or repair cost.

 

6. Permits and Regulations

The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, permissions, or licenses for the use of rental equipment or decorations, including outdoor setups, balloon décor, or other items requiring city approval.

 

7. Weather Policy

For outdoor events, the Client assumes all risks associated with adverse weather conditions. No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to weather. Alternative arrangements may be made at the discretion of the Company, subject to availability and additional charges.

 

8. Liability

• The Company is not liable for injuries, damages, or accidents caused by the use or misuse of rental items.

• The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its employees, and agents from any claims arising out of the use of rental items.

 

9. Changes to Orders

Changes to the rental order must be requested in writing at least [number] days prior to the event and are subject to approval and availability. Additional charges may apply.

 

10. Force Majeure

The Company is not liable for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.

 

11. Damage Waiver

If the Client has purchased a damage waiver (if applicable), it covers accidental damage to rental items but does not cover loss, theft, intentional damage, or misuse. Proof of damage or misuse may result in additional charges.

 

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court located in Chicago, IL.

 

13. Entire Agreement

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Client and the Company, superseding all prior agreements, written or oral. No modification of these terms will be binding unless agreed upon in writing by both parties.

 

By placing an order with DRD Event Services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
